Jeff Bowman (and Judy, too!)

One of the most pivotal and influential people in my life has been Jeff Bowman. He was my pastor at Grace Bible Church in Anaheim for about 5 years. During that time I had many personal struggles that he provided guidance with, helped nurture a REAL faith-based relationship with God, fed my intellect in many ways and held his "wing" over me through a lot of life growth. He was also the man that educated me in the legalism and realities of being a "Christian", both in personal views and as my teacher at the Anaheim School of Bible and Ministry. 

The closest thing I have to a father figure, an example of how to truly live by example, being a "good Christian," challenging life's stigmas and the blindly accepted "rules" are a just a few of the ways he has influenced my inner being. I am eternally grateful in ways that are unmentionable, yet he is a "mere man," and the eternal treasures that are affected because of his intentional involvement in my life are even more astounding. We went through some trenches together at GBC Anaheim and he performed my wedding ceremony when I married my 2nd husband, Miguel.

There are few people in your life that leave impressions like he has (and unbeknownst to him!) and that are worth their weight in gold. I am honored and privileged to have had the pleasure of meeting, knowing and enjoyed someone such as Jeff! I see no other "timeless" way to show, and share, my appreciation that to dedicate a page to him!! His wife, Judy, is just as awesome as well! I walked with her in a Susan B. Komen walk one year, to support her, as she is a breast cancer survivor!

Things I’ve Learned Series - Bible Studies which have changed my Life: These messages were given while I was the Pastor of Grace Bible Church in Anaheim, California (1993-2002). Many of these studies also have outlines for you to download and use as you listen to the study and "fill in the blanks." The outlines are MS Word documents. Every now and then the “light” goes on and you see something that you’ve never seen before. In my life as a Christian and Pastor I have pondered many issues over the years and from time to time God has surprised me. By His Word I’ve had my views change – sometimes a great distance from where I started. This process has then changed my life. I’ve become more focused on Him, learned to love Him more, and appreciated His Grace towards me in life.
